We’ve been evolving for a while now, and this rebrand is our way of making that shift visible. Rsquare now positions itself as a bold, motion-first collaborative studio. At the core of our philosophy is a simple belief: nothing sits still. Life is always in motion, and so are the people living it. For us, motion is not just execution or decoration. It’s how we think about how something feels, behaves, interacts, and communicates. This rebrand gives that mindset a clear identity and a stronger voice.

Rsquare started with Raz and Rishabh.
Two friends in university trying to make things move better.
What began as late-night conversations and student projects slowly turned into bigger collaborations, larger teams, and more ambitious work. Over time, the work evolved. So did we.
We were no longer just two freelancers working together. The projects changed, the people around us changed, and eventually the old identity stopped reflecting how we actually thought and worked. At the core of Rsquare is a simple belief: nothing stands still. People move. Culture moves. Technology moves. Brands should too.
This rebrand marks our shift into a motion-first collaborative studio, where motion isn’t an add-on, but the starting point.
Typography became the anchor of the entire identity system. We collaborated with November to develop a custom sans-serif typeface for Rsquare that could function both as a display font and our wordmark.
We wanted it to feel bold and confident while still remaining approachable. Expressive, but not overly experimental. Designed entirely in all caps, the letterforms create a sense of movement through the interplay of white space and solid forms. More than just a font, it became a flexible toolkit for us to experiment, adapt, expand, contract, and constantly play with how the brand communicates.
In many ways, the typeface became the graphic personification of our studio’s voice.

The identity is built around two core marks: a wordmark set in Rsquare Sans, and a monogram formed from a double R.
The monogram brings together a few ideas. It comes from our initials, represents Raz and Rishabh overlapping into one symbol, and plays on the idea of squaring, how collaboration multiplies output rather than just adding to it. It also hints at motion blur, where forms appear doubled when in movement.
Together, the two marks balance clarity and expression, working across both static and motion-led applications.
Our shapes are derived directly from our typeface, they've been extracted from the counter spaces of the font, combined and assembled in different ways to give us our final set of shapes.
We explored 3D as an extension of the Rsquare identity, turning our 2D shapes into simple dimensional forms.
These elements help the system feel more spatial, tactile, and dynamic across digital touchpoints. They’re used across presentations, promotional material, social posts, and other brand applications where we need something expressive without overpowering the content.
Built from the same core shapes as the identity, the 3D elements add depth and variation while still feeling connected to the overall system.
A selection of early rounds of exploration and play.

Stickers are our expressive sidekick. You’ll mostly spot them on socials, internal messages, and client decks, adding a bit of punch. Small nudges that guide attention without yelling for it.
They work like annotations that travel with the work, adding personality along the way. Part communication tool, part brand flavour.
And yes, we made them because we wanted to. Even when there’s no perfect use case, they belong in the system, because play is part of how we work.

This is where the identity really comes alive. We treated the website as a space for motion with intent, not decoration. Micro-interactions stay subtle and purposeful. From hover states to transitions, every motion is paced to support the system without overwhelming it.
The site acts as a living home for the brand. Stickers appear in the footer, shapes become spot illustrations on pages like About, and elements from the typeface quietly surface across the interface.
It’s not a finished object, but an evolving one. As we grow, the website grows with us, continuously absorbing new ideas, refinements, and expressions of Rsquare.
This video was to be culmination and a peek at everything we made for the brand while explaining our philosophy and why we exist. It was an interesting process working on this, combining 2D,3D, hand drawn animation to create the final piece of animation. Some Early explorations and RND can be seen below along with the final shots.

Beyond the core identity, the rebrand spilled into everything we touch. We designed a wide range of collateral to make sure Rsquare feels consistent wherever it shows up.
This included pitch decks, educational decks to explain logo animation to clients, onboarding decks for new joiners, Slack stickers, our daily stand-up decks, and plenty of in-between things that don’t always make it to a case study.
Some of these pieces are practical, some are playful, and some exist simply because we wanted them to. Together, they help the brand live beyond a logo or website, showing up in day-to-day conversations, workflows, and moments that shape how Rsquare actually feels from the inside out.
